In 2009 I produced a 3 part documentary for Landcare Australia’s "Source to Sea" event. The documentary follows a week long kayaking trip from Warragamba Dam to Middle Harbour. Along the way the kayaking team met a number of Landcare groups to learn about the wide variety of volunteer bush regeneration projects underway along the river system.
My involvement with the project was as team leader. Responsibilities included directing, filming, organizing the shoot, conducting interviews, editing, and animating.
The images shown here are from the second episode where we began our journey down the river and met the team. The graphic elements are from the kinetic typography animation which I created for the first episode, where members of the public were asked what Landcare is, and why they are not involved.
