Optus: FIFA Women's World Cup


With a message “we believe no one should miss out”, Optus gifted access to the Women’s World Cup to all school children in Australia.


Storyful was tasked with capturing and creating short-form videos that evoked a strong emotional response and showcased the Optus brand character.


Using a mix of UGC licensed clips and brand owned assets, Storyful depicted boys and girls cooperating while playing football for mixed teams, kids feeling empowered outside of sport and families coming together through these experiences.


Asset were distributed on the News Network an off network through Amobee, targeting GBKs and Parents with results from Kantar showing increases in brand likeability and positivity among consumers.
